Friday November 21, 2008- Waterford Charity BINGO will be held Fridat, Nov, 21st at 11:00am. There will be a noon lunch provided. All proceeds go for the salvation army and community youth services. for more info call 433-2141. This will be the last charity BINGO for this year!!!
- A casino night in support if the Kiwanis Nursing Home Palliative Care project will take place on Friday Nov.21st at the Sussex Legion starting at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10.00 and are available in advance at the Kiwanis nursing home on Bryant Drive. The evening will feature games of chance and lots of prizes. for more info call 432-3207
- Lost Highway and Shanklin Road have teamed up to plan a concert at the SRHS on Saturday Nov. 22nd to help people get into the Christmas spirit!!Tickets will be $10 with more details to follow.
- Sussex Middle fundraiser for their new Mini-van. Roast Beef Dinner at the Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday Nov 22. Adults $10, Kids $5, family of 4 is $25.

- The Hampton Royal Legion on Main Street in Hampton will have a Hot Brunch consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, baked beans, toast, pancakes and beverage all for $6!! This will happen from 10am to 1pm. 50/50 draw will be held and remember smiles are always free.
- On Saturday Dec. 6th The Havelock Lions Club will have a Pancake Supper with beans, pancakes, sausages and homemade desserts. This event will be held at the Havelock Memorial Hall from 4-6pm.
- The 7th annual Hampton Santa Claus parade will take place on Saturday, Dec, 13th and beginning at 6:00pm. Entry applications can be picked up at Ossekeag Publishing, at the town office in Hampton, at Sarah's Seconds or by calling the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce at 832-2559 by December 5th. The forms are also available on the Town of Hampton website. This event is sponsored by the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce.

- Sussex Seniors meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 1PM in St.Paul's United
Church,Main St.in the lower hall. a potluck lunch is served. All are welcome.
